The summer of New York felt endlessly heavy — humid air, relentless street noise, and a city that never seemed to pause. In search of a momentary escape, I put on my headphones and let my playlist guide me elsewhere.

As Une Barque Sur L’Océan by André Laplante began to play, the city around me disappeared. Suddenly, I was no longer in Midtown Manhattan, but wandering through a quiet flower garden somewhere in Florence — surrounded by soft breezes, silver-green grass moving gently in the wind, and sunlight washing over a small hidden house.

The 2022 SS Raum x Mujer Woo collaboration collection was born from this imagined escape. Inspired by the graceful movement of flowers and wild grass in the summer breeze, the collection explores softness, fluidity, and emotional calm through color, texture, and silhouette.

This project was designed as a quiet shelter — a small garden within the chaos of everyday life — offering a sense of comfort, stillness, and poetic escape for the modern wearer.
